Data Center Cable Technician — Denver, Colorado

Riva is hiring cable technicians for data center projects across the Denver metro area. We're looking for technicians experienced with structured cabling and network infrastructure in commercial environments.

The opportunity

Riva connects data center cable technicians with commercial contractors across the Denver metro area. Assignment location, schedule, duration, requirements, and pay are reviewed with you before you accept an assignment.

What we're looking for

  • Structured cabling experience in a data center or commercial environment
  • Familiarity with industry cabling standards and certifications, when required for the position
  • A dependable approach to attendance, communication, and workmanship
  • Safe work habits and willingness to follow jobsite requirements
  • Reliable transportation to assigned jobsites
  • Customary hand tools unless assignment instructions state otherwise
  • Authorization to work in the United States and ability to complete standard employment verification

Working with Riva

  • You are hired as a W-2 employee of Riva for Riva assignments.
  • Riva manages employment administration and weekly payroll.
  • Before an assignment, Riva shares the available customer, location, expected schedule, trade classification, known requirements, and pay rate.
  • The licensed customer contractor directs and supervises day-to-day jobsite work.
  • Opportunities and assignment details vary according to contractor needs.

Riva works with our employees and contractor partners to communicate jobsite requirements before work begins. That means following safe work practices, using required PPE, and speaking up when conditions aren't right.

Work environment and physical requirements

This is a field position performed at commercial customer and data center sites. The essential functions of this role may include:

  • Standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and working overhead
  • Climbing and working from ladders, lifts, or elevated platforms
  • Working indoors in active data center and construction-site conditions
  • Lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Riva provides standard PPE: a hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves. The assigned client provides any additional PPE required for a specific task or job site. Riva will consider reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Compensation and benefits

Pay
The anticipated pay range is $15.00–$30.00/hr, based on relevant experience, verified qualifications, and assignment requirements.
Benefits
All Riva employees are paid weekly and receive Colorado paid sick and safe leave.
